It’s going to be a little easier for Tioga County residents in the 23rd Congressional District to get the attention of their Congressman. Tom Reed’s office has announced that his staff will hold regular office hours in Owego twice a month. Reed already maintains offices in Jamestown, Olean, Geneva and Corning–and has previously held town halls in Owego, Apalachin and other communities in Tioga County. Starting a week from today, his staff will be available every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 56 Main Street in Owego from 10am until 4pm. The counties in the 23rd District were changed when district lines were redrawn last year. The region Reed serves includes 11 counties stretching from Chautauqua in the west, to Ontario in northern New York and east to Chemung, Tomkins and a portion of Tioga county.
