The 37th-annual Strawberry Festival will be celebrating “Memories” as the theme for this year’s event, which begins on Friday, June 16 with the downtown Block Party from 5-10pm and continues on Saturday, June 17 from 9am-5pm. The annual parade will begin at 10am Saturday, and the downtown streets will be filled with food vendors and live music throughout the day, along with lots of Strawberry treats. Also at this year’s festival, Animal Adventure Park will bring some of their live animals – but no giraffes – for people to meet, and there will be plenty of street performers and children’s activities. Visit www.owego.org for a full schedule of events or for vendor information and applications.
