A public meeting to discuss flood recovery will be held in Owego tonight. Residents of Owego, Nichols, and Tioga Center are encouraged to join the Tioga Communities Steering Committee to learn more about the storm recovery projects proposed in their communities and across the region. The NY Rising Community Reconstruction Program is one of several storm recovery initiatives that were set up by Governor Cuomo’s Office of Storm Recovery, as they look to provide recovery assistance for communities damaged by the string of storms in recent years. The meeting will be held at six o’clock tonight in the Hubbard Auditorium at 56 Main Street in Owego.
