The funeral for a former three-term Owego Mayor will be held today. 70-year-old Ed Arrington passed away at his home last week of an apparent heart attack. Calling hours were held yesterday afternoon at Estey, Munroe and Fahey funeral home on Park Street in Owego. Arrington was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Owego, however that church is still undergoing flood recovery renovations. The service will instead be held at the First Church of the Nazarene on Waverly Road in Owego at 1:30 this afternoon. First Baptist Church Pastor Terry Steenburg will officiate the service. Burial will follow at the Tioga Cemetery.
