Louisiana Man Arrested for Owego Gun Incident

Daniel Koopman, 23, of Benton, Louisiana has been charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon and felony reckless endangerment after he displayed a handgun to a man in the Town of Owego.
The incident occurred on Friday.
Koopman turned himself in to Tioga County Sheriff’s deputies in Waverly on Monday and was arraigned before Newark Valley Justice John Schaffer.
He was remanded to the Tioga County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
Koopman is to appear before Justice John Schumacher in Town of Owego Court March 31st.
