A search for a missing Owego man ended happily on Thursday, when 21-year-old Billy James Zavatto-Bado was located unharmed at a friend’s house. The young man was reported missing by his mother on Wednesday, following a family argument. A search effort was mounted by the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police, Campville Fire Department, Search & Rescue teams from Broome and Tioga counties, New York State Forest Rangers and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
