Upstate Shredding in Owego has been awarded an economic grant check from NYSEG. This grant from New York State Electric and Gas comes after Upstate Shredding installed a new $1.7 Million 9000 horse power motor into their mega shredder. This new motor allowed for a 30% increase in production, an increase in sales by $10 Million, and the creation of several new jobs. The grant check will be presented to CEO of Upstate Shredding, Adam Weitsman, tomorrow morning.
