The Owego Free Academy Wall of Fame saw its three newest members inducted Wednesday night. David Beere, OFA Class of 1936, Tom Bryant, OFA Class of 1968, and Dean Smith, OFA Class of 1974 were all inducted. Beere was inducted as a student and athlete. He served as a Lt. Commander in the U.S. Navy and was an international businessman following his time in the service. Bryant was inducted as a student, athlete, teacher, coach, and athletic director. He is described as an excellent role model to students and colleagues alike. Smith was inducted as a student, athlete, and volunteer, and was recognized for his role as a community leader.
