Tioga Opportunities Head Start has announced openings for the 2014-2015 school year, and is accepting applications now. Applications can be submitted for children who will be at least three years old by December 1st, but not yet 5 by that date. The program is federally funded, and offers a quality pre-school program primarily for low-income children and is free to families. There are four locations with the program in Tioga County, including Owego, Waverly, Candor, and Newark Valley.
