The referendum vote for a new Owego Elementary School will take place today from noon to 8 p.m. Polling places will be at Apalachin Elementary School and Owego Free Academy. Voters will vote on two propositions, including the authorization of borrowing $9.6 million and using $1.5 million for the district’s reserve fund. If the referendum passes, construction on the new elementary school is scheduled to start next month.
