The Owego girls lacrosse team avenged their sectional championship loss last year when they defeated Maine-Endwell Thursday night, 11-1, for the Section 4 Class C title. The Indians lost in the sectional championship to the Spartans last year by a score of 14-13. This year, it was Andrea Zlinsky leading the way for OFA, with three goals and four assists, and Jenna Harris also chipped in three goals and an assist. Goalie Cayla Harris recorded seven saves, giving up just the one goal in the first half. Next up for the ladies is a meeting in Ithaca with the winner of the Section 3 championship next Saturday.
