Owego Lockheed Martin could be seeing around $663 million in federal funding to continue its two helicopter programs. A vast majority of the proposed funding, just over $507 million, would go towards the presidential helicopter program. The Combat Rescue Helicopter Program, also based at the Owego facility, could potentially see over $155 million dollars in funding as well. The funding has yet to be passed by either the house or senate, but is being fully supported by US Senators Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gilibrand.
