The Town of Owego has scheduled a public information meeting to continue the discussion about Community Choice Aggregation. The meeting will be held Tuesday at 6pm at the Apalachin Elementary School. Residents are invited to attend to learn more about the program that could lower electricity rates through group purchasing. Several other municipalities are also considering the measure through the Municipal Electric & Gas Alliance, or MEGA. More information about the program is available online at www.megacca.org. Town of Owego Supervisor Don Castellucci talked about the program on today’s WEBO Morning Show. You can hear the full interview below.
