Remebrance Service Held For Milton Jump

The man who was killed last week during an altercation on Thorn Hollow Road was remembered by friends and family on Monday. Calling hours for 39-year-old Milton Jump of Owego were held at Estey, Munroe, and Fahey Funeral Home at 15 Park Street in Owego. Jump died last Wednesday when he was allegedly stabbed by 62-year-old Douglas Every. At the time of the incident, Every called police to his home at 281 Thorn Hollow Road in the Town of Tioga. Every is being charged with second-degree murder, and could face a sentence of 25 years to life in prison if convicted. The case is in the hands of the Tioga County District Attorney’s office.
