The west bound exit and on-ramp to Route 17 at Owego’s Exit 64 is now reopened. The bridge, on Lackawanna Avenue, was closed for the last two weeks while State DOT workers resurfaced the bridge deck. Crews worked day and night hoping to get the project done on time, and despite a week-long heat wave and heat indexes in the low one-hundreds, the bridge reopened just as scheduled yesterday.
