WEBO has learned that Sanmina in Owego will close its doors on March 7th. All 320 employees will be laid off at that time. The Tioga Career Center is offering services to those affected by the Sanmina layoffs. They say there are other employers in the area who are looking to hire manufacturing employees similar to those being let go by Sanmina. Those affected can reach the Career Center at 607-687-8500 or stop by their office in the Tioga County Health and Human Services Building on Route 38 in Owego for assistance.
