Police arrested an Addison woman after she was found to be driving while impaired and in criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and a controlled substance. 45-year-old Kelly A. Leary was pulled over by police after they say she moved from her lane unsafely on Route 17 in Barton. During the traffic stop, Leary allegedly showed signs of impairment, and upon a probable cause search of her vehicle, it was found that she was in possession of a small amount of heroin. Leary was arraigned in the Town of Barton Court, and sent to the Tioga County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
