The Franziska Racker Centers held their annual Community Celebration for Tioga County this morning at the Owego Treadway. Several awards were presented, including the Community Partner Award to the Spencer-Van Etten School District and a Special Friend award to Senator Fred Akshar. Rackers Center Executive Director Dan Brown says a record 230 people were in attendance for today’s celebration, which is co-sponsored by WEBO. Besides the awards and breakfast, the event also included a panel presentation on “belonging.”
