A Richford man was arrested for his alleged involvement in a bar fight in Whitney Point. 23-year-old Darren Ryan of Richford, was involved in a fight in front of the Half Time Lounge on Main Street in which he allegedly struck another man in the face with a beer bottle, causing a large laceration to the victim’s face. Ryan then reportedly smashed the victim’s head off the ground multiple times, and the victim had to be transported to a local hospital for treatment. Ryan was located and charged with assault, and was arraigned in the Town of Chenango Court and released pending further court action.
