Tioga County Legislative Chairwoman Martha Sauerbrey will present her annual state of the county address on Tuesday. The address will be part of the county legislature’s regular monthly meeting, which begins at 6pm in the Tioga County Office Building at 56 Main Street in Owego. After the address, the county legislature will acknowledge March as Women’s History Month and that 2017 marks the 100th Anniversary of Women’s Suffrage in New York. Women had the chance to vote in this state three years before the 19th amendment guaranteed the same right nationwide in 1920.
