A Cornell University staff member and Spencer resident was hit and killed by a bus on Cornell’s campus yesterday morning. According to the Cayuga Heights Police Department, Angela Stedwell of Spencer, was crossing Jessup Road when she was struck by a TCAT bus. Stedwell was pronounced dead at the scene. Stedwell was a staff member of the College of Human Ecology at Cornell University. The investigation into this accident is ongoing. Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this accident, or has any information, to contact the Cayuga Heights Police Department at (607) 257-1011.
