Testimony in the Cal Harris trial continued Tuesday. A neighbor of the Harris’ family testified on with some information she recalled from the night of September 11, 2001. According to Eleanor Cobb, she was awoken by her dog at the time, and soon heard a car door slam shut. This is the third trial for Cal Harris, who is facing a second-degree murder charge and whose previous convictions in Tioga County were overturned. If convicted, Harris could be sentenced to 25 years to life in state prison. The trial continues in Scoharie County today.
