In the Cal Harris murder trial, New York State Police Senior Investigator Terry Shultz took the stand yesterday morning. Shultz said he interviewed Cal’s sister-in-law, Mary-Jo Harris, after Michele disappeared. Mary-Jo is the wife of Cal’s brother. New York State Police Investigator Steven Ryan also took the stand yesterday morning. Ryan took photos of items found in the Harris’ house after Michele disappeared. Then Cal Harris’ daughter Jenna Harris took the stand yesterday afternoon. After an objection by the prosecution, Judge George Bartlett ruled to allow Jenna to testify in front of the jury in Schoharie County Court. Jenna was four years old when her mother MIchele disappeared. Defense attorney Bruce Barket said he intends to call about five more witnesses, and anticipates resting his case by the end of this week. He predicts closing arguments could happen on Monday.
