The Tioga County Fair is now in full swing. It opened Tuesday night with a parade, and continued Wednesday with the first of two demolition derbies. The second demolition derby will take place tonight at the Tioga County Fair. The fair also features food vendors, midway rides, and the always popular 4-H show. This is the first time rides and vendors have been able to return to the fair since the Flood in 2011, when the fairgrounds took on 12 feet of water. The fair board says they still have some repairs to make to the track before horse racing can return, and they’re also looking at building a new horse barn to replace structures that had to be torn down after the flood. The fair is open through tomorrow night.
