Tioga Opportunities Executive Director Maureen Abbott joined today’s WEBO Morning Show to talk about the fact that May is “Community Action Month.” Tioga Opportunities offers aging, community, energy, family health, and housing services to Tioga County residents, many of them in partnership with other agencies. To celebrate this month, they will be volunteering at food pantries next week and holding ice cream socials for their residential properties. More information about Tioga Opportunities is available on their website at www.tiogaopp.org, on their new Facebook page, or by visiting their center at 9 Sheldon Guile Boulevard in Owego.
