The Town of Nichols is looking at passing a law to make it illegal for residents to fly drones over private property without the property owner’s written permission. While the Federal Aviation Association already limits drones from being flown near airports, there are no laws currently on the books which limit the flight of drones over personal property. Town of Nichols Attorney, Jeff Jacobs, is currently looking at that possibility.
