Waterman Center Now Certified Wildlife Habitat

The Waterman Conservation Education Center on Hilton Road in Apalachin has announced that it has been deemed a Certified Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation. The federation has celebrates the Waterman Center’s efforts to create a garden space that improves habitat for a number of species. The Waterman Center’s director Scott MacDonald says that the Waterman Center is pleased to bring a Certified Wildlife Habitat right here to Tioga County. The Center has now joined a list of 150,000 certified habitats across the country.
