A Waverly couple is facing charges after a domestic incident turned physical inside their home on Monday and left one of them with a stab wound. Police say 30-year-old Jessica Bates stabbed her husband, 32-year-old Buck Bates, in the abdomen with a pocket knife. The stabbing came after her husband allegedly shoved and choked her, all in front of their three young children. Both were arrested after the incident and are facing charges. Jessica was charged with felony assault and a misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a child, while Buck was charged with one felony and three misdemeanors. He was treated and released from the hospital. Both Jessica and Buck were sent to the Tioga County Jail in lieu of bail after arraignment.
