After receiving two additional insurance checks, the Village of Waverly is on its way to replacing all equipment lost as a result of a devastating fire in August. The most recent checks will go towards replacing two dump trucks lost in the fire. The Village has already replaced two other dump trucks, and received money to replace their former skidsteer, backhoe, and pickup trucks. A roller, which was also heavily damaged in the blaze, was only months old at the time of the fire and is being repaired instead of replaced.
