An Ithaca man is facing charges after an assault last week left one person hospitalized.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 2:30 p.m. on Friday at the Ithaca Commons.
Officers found a man who was reportedly unconscious at one point, suffering injuries from a physical assault.
The victim was transported to a local trauma center for treatment.
Police arrested 30-year-old Marcus Collins for assault in the second degree.
Collins was remanded to the Tompkins County Jail without bail.
