New York State Police are investigating an armed robbery of a liquor store in the Town of Ithaca. A suspect entered the Top Shelf Liquor Store on Danby Road last Wednesday evening. He displayed a handgun and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was last seen walking north toward the city of Ithaca. The suspect is described as a black male, tall with a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a colored hat, dark colored jacket, blue jeans, and boots. The suspect had a raspy voice and covered his face during the robbery with a white bandana. Anyone with information is asked to call (607) 347-4463.
