An arrest has been made in three armed robberies in the Ithaca area. 32-year-old Curt Rosenfeld of Ithaca is charged with three counts of felony robbery.
Rosenfeld is alleged to have robbed the Mirabito Convenience Store on Dryden Road in Dryden on December 17th, The Byrne Dairy Store in Ithaca on December 19th, and the Shortstop Deli in Ithaca on December 24th. In each robbery, the suspect displayed a semi-automatic handgun. The handgun turned out to be a pellet gun.
The investigation involved the Ithaca Police, State Police, Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office, Cornell Police, Ithaca College Police, and the FBI.
Rosenfeld was arraigned in the Town of Dryden Court and remanded to the Tompkins County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail for the two armed robberies that occurred in the City of Ithaca and another $25,000 bail for the armed robbery in Dryden.
