The Ithaca Police responded to a Sunday robbery of the Quik Shoppe on Third Street in Ithaca. The suspect approached the counter and asked the clerk for all the money in the register. He displayed a handgun that was tucked into his pants. The clerk gave the suspect an undetermined amount of money. The suspect fled on foot. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’7”tall, slim build, wearing a ski-type mask, dark colored pants, jacket, and shoes. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
