A swearing ceremony to officially appoint Pete Tyler as the next Chief of the Ithaca Police Department has been scheduled for Wednesday at 10AM. It will be held at the Tompkins County Public Library. The event is open to the public and all are welcome. The Library is located at 101 East Green Street in the city of Ithaca. Ithaca Mayor Svante Myrick will officiate the ceremony.
