Ithaca Police responded to the Ithaca Falls near Fall Creek Drive Saturday afternoon to the report of a person that had entered the water but not resurfaced. Emergency personnel began a search of the area. The body of Winston Perez-Ventura was recovered at about 7:20 PM. The man was an incoming Cornell Freshman from New York City. He was attending a Cornell Summer progam.
