The New York State Police is investigating a car vs. bicycle accident in Tompkins County.
According to police, the incident occurred in the Town of Lansing at around 3 pm on Wednesday.
A vehicle was traveling on Brickyard Road near Ludlowville Road when it struck a bicyclist on the roadway.
The bicyclist was flown by helicopter to the Upstate Medical University for treatment.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
