Several school districts saw their proposed 2026-27 budgets approved by voters on Tuesday.
Waverly voters approved a $47.4 million dollar budget with a 3.65 percent tax increase.
In Owego, voters approved their $63.5 million dollar budget with no actual tax increase. A 17.1 percent increase will be completely offset by taxes the Stagecoach Pipeline will pay.
Johnson City voters approved its $83 million dollar school budget with a 2.11 percent tax increase.
Voters in Binghamton passed a $160 million dollar budget with a 1.98 percent tax increase.
Maine-Endwell voters approved its $78 million dollar budget, while Union Endicott residents approved its $113 million dollar spending plan and Vestal voters passed a $105 million dollar budget.
Horseheads voters approved its $112 million dollar budget, which included a 1.99 percent tax decrease.
Elmira City School District voters approved its $160 million dollar budget, which did not include a tax increase.
Voters approved the Elmira Heights School District Budget, which was set at $31.8 million dollars with a 1.99 percent tax increase.
In Corning, voters approved the $150 million dollar budget, which includes a slight tax decrease.
