At approximately 8am Sunday morning, the Newfield Fire Company was called to the 1200 block of West Danby Road for a vehicle-pedestrian accident. Bangs Ambulance arrived on scene and found the pedestrian deceased. The Newfield Fire Company closed the roadway and diverted traffic for nearly four hours while law enforcement conducted investigations. The investigation is ongoing.
