Police say a weekend murder in Corning was over drugs and money. It happened Saturday on Park Avenue in Corning. Corning, Elmira and State Police held a news conference today. Major Mark Koss with the New York State Police says they found Clark VanEtten, 26, dead in his home Saturday, stabbed to death and knew his assailants.

Marland Brooks and Samantha Smith of Elmira are both charged with second degree murder. Police said Brooks was the one who actually stabbed VanEtten.
