Longtime Sayre School Board member Donnie Skerpon has resigned.
Skerpon announced his decision at the school board meeting on Monday night.
He has served on the board for more than 30 years.
Skerpon said it had been a privilege and an honor to serve on the Sayre School Board.
The school board will have to appoint a new member to serve out the remainder of Skerpon’s term.
