Longtime Pennsylvania State Rep. Tina Pickett’s will host her 25th Senior Expo this week.
The Senior Expo is set for Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lynch Bustin Elementary School in Athens.
The event is specifically designed for seniors ages 55 and older and their families.
Exhibitors will offer information relating to healthcare, insurance, nutrition and exercise, financial planning, fraud protection, government services and veterans benefits.
“There are countless services available to our aging population, and this senior expo brings them all together in one convenient place,” Pickett said. “This is a great opportunity for seniors and their families to learn about what’s available and what programs work best for them.”
There will also be a town hall at 11:30 a.m. where participants may ask questions relating to legislation and issues affecting the 110th District.
