The Sayre Borough Council recently approved a major donation to Greater Valley EMS.
The borough donated $45,000, which will be matched by Bradford County as part of the county-wide EMS Sustainability Program.
The program was created to address a $1.1 million dollar funding gap identified in the Emergency Medical Services Comprehensive Study from 2022.
Greater Valley EMS is hoping other municipalities will jump on board with the program.
