Over 75 fire men and women responded to a structure fire in Sayre just after 5 pm last night. It happened at South Elmer Ave just behind the non-profit business “Enterprise”. The building was used for storage, and had four boats and a 34-foot camper in it. It is being called a complete loss. The fire was declared “under control” just before 7 pm as first responders worked to make sure the situation remained contained. Along with the Sayre Fire Department, crews from Athens, Waverly and North Towanda were also on the scene. No one was injured and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
