A Sayre man is accused of assaulting a nurse in the Emergency Department of Robert Packer Hospital. It happened Monday afternoon while the man’s father was being treated in the ER. Frustrated at what he perceived as a lack of care, 56-year-old Joseph Dorsey started yelling obscenities at nurses and then pushed one of them before leaving the hospital. He was found in a nearby bar by Sayre Police and taken into custody on charges of assault and disorderly conduct. Dorsey was sent to the Bradford County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
