The Waverly Central School District has announced plans to hold an active shooter drill sometime in the spring. Superintendent Dr. Randy Richards says the district is working with both the Waverly Police Department and New York State Police to develop the drill. It is part of the district’s safety plan, which will be available for residents to comment on during a public hearing Jan. 19 in the high school library.
