A woman who’s been on the run from police for two days was arrested Wednesday. Waverly police said Julia Martin, 34, of Waverly, was located Wednesday afternoon on Emory Chapel Road. Martin was walking on a railroad bridge Monday with 24-year-old Kevin Shipman, of Waverly, when they were approached by police telling them to stay off the tracks. As the two fled the scene, Shipman dropped a bag containing several items of drug paraphernalia, needles and narcotics, according to police. Shipman was arrested later that day, Martin was wanted for criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal trespass. She was taken before the Waverly Justice Court and remanded to the Tioga County Jail.
