Waverly police say Facebook tips helped solve a recent attempted burglary case. Joseph Hall was arrested after an attempted break-in at the Waverly Pharmacy on Sunday. Police say the department’s Facebook followers provided valuable information about the case. This after surveillance camera photos from the attempted burglary were posted online Monday. Hall has been charged with felony counts of attempted third degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief. He was arraigned in Waverly Village Court and sent to the Tioga County jail on $5,000 bail.
