The Village of Waverly will begin working on a master plan for Waverly Glen Park after receiving a grant from the Mildred Faulkner Truman Foundation. The village’s Parks and Recreation Department will put together the master plan to identify improvements to infrastructure and ideas for additions to the park. Once it is completed, the village will be able to use it to seek funding. Waverly Glen Park is adjacent to Two Rivers State Park and already contains a waterfall, pavilions, playgrounds, tennis courts, and trails. As part of the Master Plan, the community is being asked to participate in a survey to help shape the future of the park. Surveys are available at the Village of Waverly Clerk’s Office, the Waverly Library, and the Waverly School Offices.
