The US Postal Service has launched a new program that will let you receive an image of your mail the day you receive it. The “Informed Delivery” program scans black and white images of your mail and can send an automated email direct to your inbox each morning. The postal service says it’s a way for customers to know if that important bill or check will be arriving that day and to protect against possible theft. You can sign up for this free service on the US Postal Service website. It is available to all residents in the Southern Tier.
