It may not be the amount that was originally forecast, but a winter storm will continue to bring us snow and blustery conditions through this afternoon. A Winter Storm Warning continues until 1pm for the Southern Tier. The National Weather Service says snow will continue to fall until this afternoon, dropping an additional 1 to 4 inches before the snow diminishes to scattered flurries. Sustained winds of between 15 and 25 miles per hour with gusts up to 40 will create snow drifts and impact visibility on roadways. Several accidents have been reported across the area this morning. Drivers are urged to use caution.
